Counselling & Coaching
Counselling offers opportunities to explore meaning, purpose and ways to live authentically. Dana is a registered counsellor with the Australian Community Counselling Association (ACCA) and specialises in working with adults exploring neurodivergence, life transitions and preventing or recovering from burn out. She is trained in Narrative Therapy which is grounded in social justice work and has been found to be aligned with a First Nation's worldview.
Jungian coaching supports the exploration of symbolic meaning in dreams, relationships, symptoms in the body, synchronicities, all abilities creativity, myths and fairytales. Dana is a registered Jungian Coaching with the International Association for Jungian Coaches & Consultants. People often discover the work of Carl Jung when experiencing midlife changes that may include evolving roles, relationships and questions around identity. Dana holds a Graduate Diploma of Mental Health and her speech pathology knowledge and experience helps clients find and celebrate their authentic inner voice. Dana's coaching approach explores meaning-making through sharing personal, ancestral and mythological stories, exploring symbols in everyday life including nature, dreams and creativity.
Dana offers in-person counselling sessions from Melbourne Integrated Therapies, 8/10 Mansfield Street, Thornbury, Vic 3071), as well as phone and telehealth sessions. The fee for a 60 minute session is $120 with some concession appointments available on request. Unfortunately, Dana is not able to offer Medicare rebates for her services. NDIS clients are able to use Psychosocial Recovery Coaching for this service.
